According to Chase it was hellyishly cold last night. Another interesting Chaseism comes to you from last night as he was choosing classes for his first semester at COLLEGE. He asked, "Am I looking for English, or English as a Second Language?" Now, you know how hard it is not to laugh (with someone) when such a classic Chaseism flies from their mouth. But, this time I held my composure, and responded, "It's English, Chase, just English". Perhaps I was wrong being that he is from another state? Maybe that was what he was thinking? Or I am staring too deep into the puddle? :) love ya ChaserMan! Keep the Chaseisms flowing!

FF Update

OK. Now it's your favorite time of the week! Almost all my players did well and moved us forward for a victory. That places my team in the Super Bowl. We had 8 teams that started in the playoffs, I was ranked #8, my competitor this weekend in the Bowl was ranked #7. That's right, the two underdogs have beat the odds to end up in the championship game! My competitor is my brothers roommate down at A&M, and his team looks overall weak. I am currently the favorite to win by almost 20 points! Yeah for me! Now remember, if you win the Super Bowl, what happens? I'm going to DisneyLand! Maybe Chase can be my guide since he's been there now! I'll report back to you next week after the Final Game takes place! Good luck to ME!

I'm Hurrying Home For Christmas!!!!

Here I come, with my sack full of presents, and my belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly (considerably less jellier than last year I must add)!!!!!!!
I can't wait to see all of you and give you a big squench!!! Bryson can't wait to throw up on all of you!! Nathan can't wait to eat all of your food!!
I'm so excited I can't stand it.
Pray for our safe travel and that Bryson might sleep the whole way!! Merry Christmas!!!

Fantasy Football Update

Because you all care!
I won my first playoff game and have another one this week. Last week I was the 8th place team taking on the 1st place team. Now I'm taking on the 4th place team. This team scored 30 more points than I did last week. I've picked up a few extra players (Thanks Chase) which should help out my score. Once again I will report to you the results next week. If I win this game I'll be headed to the Super Bowl, and you know what happens if I win the Super Bowl! I'm going to DisneyLand!

By the way, in our nightly computer battle on our addictive game last night I pounded Chase pretty badly. He probably didn't sleep well last night with the screams of his people still ringing in his ears from my Bombards ripping through his fort and town. Oh well, there is always tonight ChaserMan, better start practicing now!

Casualty in 'War on Christmas'

I thought Chaserman wasn't blogging because he was severly traumatized during a Christmas, or should I say HOLIDAY, shopping trip when an angry liberal physically attacked him for wishing him a 'MERRY CHRISTMAS'. I was told he was tied up with a strand of Christmas lights right there in the middle of the food court at the mall, and that stinkin lefty is still holding Chaserman captive, on display while chanting "Merry Christmas to NONE and to NONE a good night"!!- Poor Chase, he was just trying to get us some kick-A presents to commemorate the birth of our Lord. What's so wrong with that???

Lost

I'm sad to report that our dear Chaserman has been lost to the addictive world of computer games. He has a permanent butt print in a chair at the family's kitchen table where he can play for hours at a time. Last night he played until 3:00 am. I believe an intervention is inevitable. We will also have to include Rob, as he has been an instigator in Chase's demise.

ChaserMan?

Where oh where is our Chaserman?? No phone calls, no instant messenger, I know he is not working that hard. Last I heard from him he was going Christmas shopping....I hope he didn't get beat up by some little old lady and her purse. He may be curled up in the fetal position under a clothes rack at Old Navy. Somebody check. Or wait maybe he has a girlfriend?!?!?!?!

Little Helper

Okay, here we are at Clyde and Candace's new house. Just taking a couple of breaks from working so hard!!! Bryson and I worked our little tails off!!!
It was a little chilly so Bryson had to wear his hat. You can tell his nose is a little red. Bless his heart!! He's just about to get his first tooth! KING-RATS!

The Results Are IN!

I wanted to report to the family the results from the Fantasy Football season. Nathan, Chase, and Rob were engaged in trench warfare with a total of 14 teams over the past 13 weeks. Only the top 8 teams were able to move on to the playoffs. I am happy to report that one of the three of us were among the top 8 teams. That's right, it was my team. Our final team name ended up as "The Contender" because I sit currently in 8th place and I face the Goliath 1st place team. I will report back with an update if my team is victorious in this first round of the playoffs. My silence after this post will indicate a loss. Here's hoping!

BREAKING NEWS......

Amber - reporting live from Conway, Arkansas where we have recently learned that our beloved Clyde and Candace have suffered a tremendous loss. No longer are they the owner's of a thirty year old roomate. The news came sometime yesterday evening or early this morning. Sources say they are holding up well, while being slightly P-Oed!
The coming weeks will tell how difficult the transition will be, moving into their new house without a monkey on their back.
Maybe we could all send them a word of encouragement!

Clyde, I'll make you some cupcakes for your loss!
Nathan will bring the kegg!
Bryson will bring the formula!

Monkey Bread (unsweet)

I made some homemade bread this weekend and I thought it would only be right to brag about it!  
IT WAS DANG GOOD!!!
I am making it again for the Whiddon and Box Christmas festivities……..so now there is something else to look forward to!

On a side note, could someone, please for the love of God, get me Ashley’s address at school?
